Thanks Scott,

I've since upgraded and all seems well....I've still got a bit of work to do in getting Housebot to keep a record of the status of the Dims/Brights.

Cheers

Scott, I will definitely upgrade !! Regarding your suggestion of creating X10 Lamp Modules, wouldn't that negate the functionality of being able to Dim & Bright my lamp modules - as they're not the standard Leviton style down here in Australia ? I seem to remember the way around that was to crea...

KR22 Credit Card Remote - Dim & Bright Problem

Hi All, I think I'm going slightly mad !! I have a KR22 Credit Card Remote controller which turns two lamps on/off, and dims/brights them. Within Housebot (v1.51c) , these two lamps are set up as X10 Controller Devices with Composite properties as follows Lamp1 = A;1;On Lamp2 = A;2;On When I use the...

What's coming in the next release?

Hi Scott,

I've seen a few posts mention some new features in the pipeline.

Just wondering if you have a list of features/functionality that is due to be released soon ? What can we all look forward to ? :D

Cheers,

Dave

Dim & Bright Commands

Dear All, I'm trying to figure out how the Dim and Bright commands are being treated. I don't have the fancy Leviton style modules as I'm in Australia. My Lamp module can receive On, Off, Dim and Bright commands. If I send A;2;On it turns on the lamp. Then if I A;2;Dim;20 it dims nicely to off, then...

Hi Scott,

I didn't want to post the good news too soon...might be jinxed - but the good news is that Housebot now remains running!!

Thanks for the fix...out of interest what did you change in the last version ?

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Scott, Thanks once again for the prompt response....I've applied those changes and I simulated midnight and the problem was fixed. I reset the clock and waited for midnight to approach in its own due course and the problem has been fixed. :D It's been running for over 12 hours now with no issues....

Hi Scott, I made the changes you suggested but it did the same thing at midnight last night. I also left it running maximised, rather than minimizing to the the task bar. It looks like Redbeard has the same problem too now. How difficult would it be to compile a version for us to test which has debu...

Hi Scott, Sorry but it didn't fix the problem. It appears to have shutdown at 12am again. Now when I start it up it closes down automatically 5 seconds after starting. I have reinstalled Win2000 Pro and am running as Administrator. I've a feeling this only happened after I was trying to get it to ru...
