Pronto Codes
Pronto Code Form shows on IR device setup when using USB - URIT. One would assume that you can paste Pronto Codes in here and use them. However in the section on 'Loading Pronto XML' there is a foornote that says 'Using Pronto codes is dependent on the HArdware Interface......Currently only the ADI ...

Confused setting up IR devices
I have successfully loaded several remotes (except Outlaw and Marquis). When into setting -configure IR devices - and created the start of a DVD-A IR device (two properties). But now I am lost --- the device shows in the IR devices form but there is only the full side panel view when I highlight a p...

Can I paste from a Pronto config and use with USB-URIT
I have found two Pronto ccf files for the Outlaw 950 and can load them into Tonto or ProntoEdit and copy and paste into the Pronto Data window BUT I thought from reading the docs that I can't use the Pronto format codes with USB-URIT only with the Ocelot

Problems with USBUIRT and Outlaw Audio 950 Remote
I have had no problems loading 4 different remotes tonight and then I hit the Outlaw Audio 950 remote which I believe is a Theater Master. I get 50% through the learning process and then the learning stops even though the led on the USB-URIT continues to flash. I tried seting the repeats to 1 but it...

Does Housebot create permamanent xmltv.xml file?
Does HouseBot create a permanent(resident) xmltv.xml file? HouseBot has the ideal scheduler to schedule updating this file as part of its TV listing functions but I would also like to use the file in another app. If it is sticky, what directory does it get created in? For the future, could this be m...

Call panels
Yes that would be a good workaround for the short term. As the system grows it would be nice to avoid having all those extra task definitions.

Integration with myHTPC
Pablo of myHTPC is in the process of rewriting the core of his product. It already has a significant Media Management capability that he is racheting up in the new version. It is however very weak in the the control side --- the big strength of HB. With the new core, there may be a significant possi...

external control -- launch panels remotely
One piece missing from the external control is the ability to move to a specific panel from a remote command. For eg. If I launch TheaterTek on the HTPC via myHTPC, I would like to set the panel displayed in HouseBot on the HCPC to the PC-DVD controls panel so that I can control TT from my HouseBot ...

Button building
If you don't mind parting with a few dollars, one of the best button builders I have found is Xara 3D. Its about $40 and can build all sorts of button styles in 3D as well as 3D text in about 40 different fonts including Pronto. The buttons can be exported as bitmaps in any size x by y pixels. I hav...

Rotary Gauge
Thanks Scott, I know we talked about it about 6 months ago and I am glad to see it is now on the list. I have had a hiatus about that long away from HouseBot and am very pleased with the development that has happened since then.

Rotary Gauge Control
Would you consider adding a rotary gauge control? I know it is harder to implement graphically than the linear versions but it would be great to have to emulate equipment faceplates.
