I've had this off and on- thanks for the Startup task- I had no idea that existed! Doing it RIGHT NOW.

Ok, I can see that my sleep value is at 200, which I think is the beginning default. I can't remember exactly what I did to fix it though... attached is my file, doing a compare is going to yield a lot of diffs though, as I modified it quite a bit to add multi-zone and a few other things.

I use the express versions, which are free and easy to use- a nice SDK makes life so much easier.

Once you slim down the code to just what is needed, if you still need C++ help let me know. . . I'm hip deep in a multi-platform recompile for my graphics shaders.

Well, I haven't tried to do a plugin for Housebot. . . but I typically use a debugger to step through my code when it is doing something (or nothing ;-) unexpectedly. Do you have a debugger? Another method is it to "stub out" portions of the code. So rather than trying to actually DO anyth...

Changing the list boxes should be pretty straight-fwd. Look for the places its says 'Page Logic, and substitute for the 100 with your desired size. My boxes are all the same length, so I named my variable List_Box_Size, sounds like you want different ones for each box type. If you put the variables ...

Agreed- no worries.

I try to mention HB when people are looking for a package. Now that CQC has gotten so expensive, I would think HB should be more attractive.

Has anyone hooked up an Omnistat to HB?

15 is big for a wall mount, but I think for recipes and browsing in the kitchen it could be ideal. He seems to have gotten a little quiet though. Watch, he'll only be able to get 5. Should be a good fight.

I'm watching that post too. I'm running SW remotes on old Intermec 5055B's that I think are even less capable. I think this thing will run a remote just fine. Waiting to see what the full specs are though, esp screen size.

I do it the same way as Terry, using a script that re-starts HB if it crashes. Works very easily.

and as to where in Winamp, Options/Preferences/Plug-ins/Output/Configure/Device tab, top box.
