MediaPro is coming!

Post by markd »

Hey all-

I've been working with Jim (circe640) on testing MediaPro, his plugin and database manager. It is a very extensive toolkit that allows for all kinds of media management- very cool stuff! So far I've just been playing with getting a cover art driven DVD and CD player- my target is to have control of 8-10 independent audio zones, and a single DVD player for my TV.

Here are some screen shots of my current interface . . .in reverse order of how I added them. . . the thumbnail screen is intended to be the main screen.

Touching the thumbnail pops you right to the DVD screen-

The play button doesn't do anything yet, but you get the idea.

The details page comes up when you hit the more info button.

The filtering capabilities are pretty cool- you can slice into your collection in all kinds of ways. I've been buggin Jim about getting more than one filter going at a time- I think he is heading to doing two levels- a sort step, and a filter step (filters remove, sort orders). I have the filters showing right from the thumb screen, in a popup. It'll have to be a little larger when the filter capabilities are expanded.

More later!
